Overall history: Megan Elizabeth Ferguson was born on November 16th 1994 to Jonathan and Elizabeth Ferguson. She grew up on their family farm in Ireland. She has an older brother named Johnny. They are four years apart and are very close. Johnny was devastated when Megan got her letter from Hogwarts when she turned 11 years old. Megan was confused by this because she thought he would be happy that she was a witch.
Eventually, Johnny came around and apologized for being unsupportive. Megan's parents were extremely proud of their daughter when she got her letter to hogwarts. Megan's grandmother, Abigail is a witch as well and was very happy that Megan would be able to go to Hogwarts. When it was time to go get supplies for her school year, Megan bought herself a white cat that she named Belle.
Throughout the several years she has been at Hogwarts, Megan has made many close friends and has won the hearts of many teachers there, including the normally crabby librarian. While she does love being at Hogwarts, she does miss her parents and brother, along with her Granny and the many animals at her farm. Megan bounded down the spiral staircase with a huge smile on her face as she crossed the common room and wished a few fellow Gryffindor's a Happy Christmas. "Presents!!" She kneeled down next to the Christmas tree and picked up several presents with her name on them. She read the tag on one. "Merry Christmas, Love Johnny." She read. Megan tore open the present and saw a leather-bound blank diary. She opened it and found an inscription. "I figured by now your old one had to be almost full! Enjoy!Love you lil' sis. xo J." She smiled and clutched the diary to her chest.
She read another tag, this one from her granny. Unwrapping the present, Megan smiled brilliantly as she held out the hand knitted scarf with her initials in the left corner. She wrapped the warm scarf around her neck and unwrapped the last present from both her mom and dad. Megan's smile disappeared, replaced by a somber frown. She missed her family terribly and this present didn't help. It was a picture of herself and her family all on horseback in the front of their stable. One salty tear fell onto Megan's new scarf. She quickly wiped it away, fearing someone would see. She turned the picture frame over and saw an inscription carved into the wood. "Merry Christmas Darling. We love you so much.
