Rules
General
01.Advertising is only allowed on the advertisement board.
02.All messages made in the OOC boards should not be abusive- no bullying and no forcing people to give out personal details!!! Should anyone not desire to share their personal information with us here at the board, they have the right not to. Do not breach on anyone's privacy.
03.All display names should be your character's first name and last name. Middle name is optional.
04.When you join, try to get your app done. We don't like having ghost accounts with no posts on them. Bookmark the site, make sure you have the link for when you have free time, you can log on and begin your application.
05.Icons should be 100x100 and the graphics in your sig should be nice and not too big meaning we don't want something that stretches the screen.
06.You may have as many characters as you like but if you have multiple cannon character please make sure you come on and post frequently as it is not fair to people who come on often who want your character.
07.If you have multiple characters please create a new account for each one, do not post as two characters on the same account!
08.The person portraying your character MUST be a real person. No animations. You can use a model, actor/actress, singer, etc. But NO animations. Please. It’s just not realistic.
09. We are a PG-13 site so revealing pictures aren't appropriate in your avatar and/or signature. First rules word is: Hogwarts
Posting rules
01. Posts must be at least a good few sentences each, I mean seriously who wants to read one word posts because I certainly don’t! However this does not apply to the OOC boards. The current word limit is 50+words. This rule is subject to change, and will definitely be enforced. It's okay if you’re a little bit under, but please don't post 5 words. If your rp-ing with someone who's giving you 300 words don't give them 10.
However! We are enforcing an absolute word limit at 35 words!
02.Use proper grammar and spelling, please. The spell check is there for a reason. Proper grammar is highly appreciated, and we expect everyone to do his or her best when it comes to grammar. We do, however, realize that some people are simply not as good at grammar as other's, as a result of their nationality, or education, so it can be excused. ALL posts must be made in 3rd person. You are NOT your character, so we are strictly against using "I".
03.Please remember that RP ALWAYS comes first. Don't post much in the OOC threads. If you're a cannon character your character will need to be very active. Please post at least twice per week in the IC boards if you are cannon if you are non-cannon please post at least once per week
04.The forum is 'rated' PG-13, and is high school based. This means characters will be dealing with things that normal people deal with. Drama. Sex. Drugs. Parties. If you can't handle that, don't participate in any of it.
05.God modding. Simply put: don’t do it. For those who have never heard the term it is basically taking control of another person’s character –acting like a god. Or pretending your character is invincible. Look it up on Wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godmodding
Role playing is about writing with someone else, what fun is it if you cut them out of the picture and do all of the writing yourself?
06.If they get pregnant, wait at least 9 weeks before the baby is born, we won’t make you wait the whole nine months, but it can’t just be a week or two either.
07.No sex scenes!! As it is PG-13. Innocent foreplay i.e. kissing and hugging, however, is... this is a RP site not you bedroom please respect that other people do not wish to hear what you like to do with you partner.
08.You are free to swear. Swearing is normal and no words are disallowed. However, keep it within reason. No one drops the f-bomb every other word unless there are very, very extenuating circumstances.
